WEEE Waste

From small individual items to large office or site clearances, we can dispose of hazardous and non-hazardous waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE). Such items may include: fridges, freezers, fluorescent tubes, printers, copiers, batteries, oily rags and aerosols. These items will be collected from site and sent to a licensed treatment scheme for recycling.

Waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) can be hazardous and so has its own set of rules when it comes to recycling. A UK directive introduced in 2007 prevents any commercial electronic or electrical equipment making its way to landfill, and all items with a plug are classed as WEEE, so must be disposed of as such. From small individual items to large office or site clearances, all waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) items will be collected from site and sent to a licensed treatment scheme for recycling.
